Meixian Huang, MSTOM, L.Ac., LMT, MLD-C
Meixian Huang, L.Ac., LMT, is a New York State-licensed acupuncturist and massage therapist dedicated to integrating Traditional Chinese Medicine with modern clinical approaches. She holds a Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and Five Branches University.
Originally from China, Mei was inspired from an early age by the harmony between Eastern and Western medicine. Her lifelong curiosity about human biomechanics and physiology has shaped her holistic approach to healthcare—addressing body, mind, and spirit to promote natural healing and balance.
In her clinical practice, Mei specializes in gastrointestinal disorders, women’s health, psycho-emotional conditions, and pain management. She emphasizes the synergy between acupuncture and Western medicine, tailoring each treatment to support the body’s innate healing capacity. Her advanced training includes post-stroke rehabilitation (Xing Nao Kai Qiao), oncology support, diabetes care, Japanese Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture, and healthy aging (Yang Shen). Under the mentorship of Dr. Henry McCann, she continues to refine her expertise in Master Tung Acupuncture.
Mei also completed clinical training at Nanjing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, where she deepened her knowledge in pediatric acupuncture, tuina, women’s health, and respiratory care through hands-on study in multiple specialty departments.
Beyond her clinical work, Mei serves as a teaching assistant at Pacific College of Health and Science, mentoring future acupuncturists and contributing to the advancement of the field. Committed to healthcare equity, she also volunteers in Brooklyn, offering acupuncture and Reiki services to underserved communities.
Mei’s practice reflects her deep respect for both tradition and innovation—guided by compassion, continuous learning, and a dedication to helping patients achieve lasting wellness.
